Time for Boredom



Have you ever had that feeling that your head is full and there's nothing that could happen there anymore? That sensation that you need a break to reset and recharge? We live in a world that values productivity and stimulation, so we are constantly doing something not to be perceived as lazy or inefficient.

We are scared of doing nothing because we were raised believing that not being involved in an activity might lower our self-esteem and status in society, so being constantly on the move became a social norm.

We brag about how busy and tired we are, starting the work early and leaving late. Still, in this constant rush of modern life, we might have a solution to improve our well-being, and it's quite a simple one - it's allowing ourselves the time to be bored.

Boredom allows us to reconnect with ourselves and tap into our innate creativity.
